I am a Barcelona born and NYC based freelance Director of Photography. I travel all around the world shooting diverse content, from narrative feature films, to documentaries and commercials. 

 

The feature projects I've worked on include STEALING CHANEL ( Dir. Roberto Mitrotti), PINSKY ( Dir. Amanda Lundquist), LOVE AND BULLETS ( Dir. Manetti Bro) and most recently, TREASURE TROUBLE ( Dir. Dan Erickson) and ASKING FOR IT directed by Amanda Lundquist and Becky Scott. Other projects have premiered at festivals including Venice, Cannes, Moscow, Santa Fe, Seattle and Boston Film Festivals. 

 

I studied at the New York Film Academy more than ten years ago. I began by working on as many sets as possible, as a camera operator, focus puller and gaffer, giving myself the best background for my approach to cinematography, where I combine technical proficiency with my passion for light. I've always been interested in how to manipulate light, whether on set or at home, watching the shadows of headlights passing through the tree outside my window and onto the wall in my living room. At my core, I became a cinematographer because I’m fascinated by the mechanics of light, and how I can speak through visual storytelling, affect tone and bring beauty to an image. I solve creative challenges collaboratively, getting into the director's mind, then finding the best strategies for controlling the light, composition and tone needed for each project.
